Immigration Department adopts LINKK e-Capture Solution covering Image Rectification, Face Detection, Form Identification, OCR and Data Verification
Hong Kong - May 2019 - Immigration Department launched a convenient and speedier e-Passport-2 service to the public to shorten the time required for processing ePassport applications. It facilitates the submission of online ePassport applications including more avenues for submitting travel document applications and supplementary documents. The service covers the self-service submission kiosk (“SSK), e-Services 2 and mobile platform in a self-service manner. LinkPOWER LINKK e-capture solution enables e-Passport-2 system to auto-rectify and process the submitted Photo and form images for facial detection, auto-cropping, form template identification, OCR, Form Processing, Data Verification.
