Hosted Search Service for GovHK Portal, Government Departments and Related Websites

Hongkong - Jun 2016 - Office of the Government Chief Information Officer ("OGCIO") of HKSAR Government selected LinkPOWER as the service provider to host the GovHK search service (http://search.gov.hk) for the GovHK Portal and around 470 Government and related websites. 
 
The GovHK Portal is the one-stop access portal of the Government, was soft launched to the public in September 2006 and serves as the gateway for citizens to access online government information and services in a citizen-centric manner. Websites linked to the GovHK Portal (include websites of all Government bureaux and departments (B/Ds), websites of government related organisations, and thematic websites, etc.) are collectively referred to as Government related websites. To make it easier for the public to find the necessary information and services, the GovHK Portal uses a service clustering approach, i.e. grouping related government information and online services into different service clusters in accordance with the needs and preferences of citizens by segments.
